Bedroom
Armoire Plan
Behind
the full length doors you will find plenty of shelf space along with three
spacious bottom drawers. The drawers are constructed using simple
dado/rabbet joinery.

Bedroom
Door Chest Plan
The armoire section is large enough so
that you can setup a television, or even a stereo system, and other
electronic gear on the two adjustable shelves. Instead, you may want
to place a pole for hanging shirts and dress clothes in the armoire.

Mate's Twin Bed & Bookcase
Headboard Plans
Today we want to make every inch
available for storage. We decided to build our children this bed in order
to optimize the storage capacity of a small bedroom without compromising
play area. Having the large storage drawers under the bed uses up the
wasted space usually reserved for dust balls and discarded granola
wrappers.

Mate's Twin Bed & Bookcase
Headboard Plans
Derived from the captain’s bed,
the mate’s bed is relatively easy to build. In fact, we have many
friends who, after seeing the finished bed, loved it so much that they
built one for their own children, with only minimal knowledge of
woodworking. |
Mate's Double Bed &
Bookcase Head Board Plans
This bed is fairly easy to build,
using hardwood veneer and solid wood drawer faces. Most of the
fastening for the bed assembly uses corner zinc braces and screws, thus
allowing for easy disassembly. The spacious drawers are built using
simple dado and rabbet joinery. This plan also uses drawer slides
but you may choose differently.

Night Table
Plan
You can easily and quickly build this
bedside night table and finish it to match your pre-existing bedroom
furniture. Built from solid oak and oak veneer using simple joinery
techniques, this piece of furniture will last for years to come. Of
course, you may choose other wood species in order to match other
furniture in the bedroom.

This is a woodworking project that you
can easily build in a weekend.

Simple Armoire Plan
This armoire is the perfect storage
solution for small bedrooms because it maximizes vertical space area that
would otherwise not be used. Traditionally used to store clothing,
it could also make a perfect storage area for a small television or for
the ever-popular Nintendo/Playstation video game systems that our children
are so addicted to. Whatever you decide to place in it, you
will find this armoire is a useful addition to any home.

Cedar Blanket Chest Plan
A blanket chest may look simple or may
even be fancy, but its function is the same: storage. When making a
blanket chest, we think first of where we will put it. In some
cases, it ends up in a basement closet where no one can see it or, it may
be displayed at the end of your bed.
